I promised to put an end to all these reports, bit nevertheless fell for the temptation to write this one: The old man suddenly found out that it would be nice to spend a few days this autumn at the Aurevatn lake in Lillomarka, quite near where I live. So the 11. Sept. I parked only a couple of minutes drive from my home. Then I loaded Chomsky’s backpack with 15 kgs and my own with around 20 kgs for the first of two turns to establish my camp site. Aurevatn is only a little more than an hour’ trek from the parking lot. As you see from the photos Aurevatn is quite an idyllic lake and my camp site was situated on a small peninsula outside the stream of tour walkers. I brought my big four-man tent and I also put up a little lean-to for stuff I did not use very often. As usual brought with me far too much food and equipment. One luxury was beer that Chomsky willingly carried on his back, in addition to his own food. But I had a lot of good meals and consumed a lot of papers, books and a...
